Who is responsible?
Éco Promotionnel is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. For privacy questions, access requests or complaints, contact info@ecopromotionnel.ca. The person responsible for personal information is the highest-ranking person in the organization unless another responsible person is formally designated.
What we collect and why
When you request a quote, we collect your name, organization, email, optional phone number, project details, preferred date and delivery context to respond to your request, prepare a quote and follow up on the project. We do not require payment for a catalog quote request. We use the information only for these purposes unless you provide separate consent for another purpose.
Cookies, local storage and analytics
Essential encrypted session cookies keep quote lists, carts and secure access working. The comparison list and language preference may be stored in browser local storage. Optional Google Analytics is disabled by default and loads only after consent. You can refuse or withdraw analytics consent at any time using the Privacy settings button.
Service providers and transfers
We may use hosting, database, storage, email, payment, catalog and analytics providers to operate the website and respond to requests. These providers may process information outside Quebec or Canada. We limit access to what is necessary, use contractual and technical safeguards, and assess applicable privacy risks before communicating personal information outside Quebec.
Retention and security
We retain quote and order information only as long as reasonably necessary to manage the request, business relationship, accounting obligations and legal claims. Security logs may retain IP address and browser information for abuse prevention and access protection for a limited period. We then securely delete or anonymize information according to our internal schedule. We use access controls, encrypted sessions, rate limiting and logging safeguards. No internet transmission or storage system is completely risk-free.
Your rights
You may request access to or correction of your personal information, withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis, and ask questions about its use. Contact info@ecopromotionnel.ca. We will verify your identity, respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any refusal. We do not use quote requests as automatic marketing consent.
Confidentiality incidents
We maintain an incident response process. If an incident presents a risk of serious harm, we will take the measures and notifications required by applicable law and maintain the required incident records.
Marketing communications
We do not add quote-request contacts to a promotional mailing list without separate consent. Commercial electronic messages, if any, identify the sender and include an unsubscribe mechanism. Unsubscribe requests are processed within the time required by law.
